Essential Role Requirements:
- Able to dig strip foundations
- An excellent eye for finished works. For example top soil levelling muck type 1 crush and road formation
- Capable of lifting and working with trench boxes manhole boxes drag boxes and trench sheets
- Able to read and understand levels and drawings
- Acknowledge the need for dig permits before breaking ground
- Experienced working around live services and in service avoidance techniques
- Able to competently carry out daily prestart plant safety inspections and maintenance checks and communicate service requirements in good time to the site management team
- Able to carry out essential greasing basic maintenance and always keep machines clean and tidy
- Must be driven to show respect for plant and maintain to a high standard
- Proactive and able to manage time effectively
Desirable:
- Any experience with or knowledge of GPS machine control would be advantageous
- Additional CPCS/NPORS* tickets and experienced in operating any of the following; Telehandlers Dumpers Rollers
- 5 Years experience
General Expectations:
- Reliable & punctual
- Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on time
- Right to work in the UK
Cards & Qualifications Required:
- CPCS/NPORS* Excavator / 10t Tracked
- CPCS Lifting Ops/NPORS* Excavator as Crane
- Safety Critical Medical (Site Specific)
Additional/Desirable Cards & Qualifications:
- CPCS/NPORS* Forward Tipping Dumper
- CPCS/NPORS* Ride on Roller/Road Roller
- CPCS/NPORS* Telehandler
- CPCS/NPORS* Attachments; Quick Hitch
