You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are currently seeking a Senior IT Specialist to join our IT Services Team. This position is based in Toronto. All hubbased Clions are expected to be in office minimum twice per week on one of our Anchor Days.
The IT teams mission is foundational to how we get work done at Clio our team has a meaningful and lasting impact. Were focused on facilitating the best possible experience for our Clio talent providing the right tools at the right time to further Clios mission of transforming the legal experience for all. We are moving past the traditional IT Services group of fighting fires and are always looking for ways to proactively automate and save our employees precious time. By supporting Clions we find ways for them to spend more time helping our customers.
A day in the life might look like:
Deliver world class IT support to #teamClio around the globe.
Drive technical best practices and tailor adoption to meet end user needs.
Lead by example and provide mentorship and training to members of the team.
Onboard new Clions to our systems applications and various technologies.
Maintain accurate inventory of all hardware through asset management tools.
Own the procurement and logistics of new hardware and software.
Prioritize and understand the importance of IT security protocols.
Implement and maintain policies procedures and associated training plans.
Collaborate with external management and department leaders to assess near and longterm technology needs.
Create and maintain documentation to standardize processes within the IT Team.
Continually grow learn and share as we strive to push technical boundaries.
This position can be predominantly performed remotely although being able to come with short notice to our office will be needed.
You may be a fit for this role if you:
Highly experienced in managing inbound tickets from submission to completion.
Mastery in documenting troubleshooting steps and communicating solutions with end users.
Ability to analyze IT processes and procedures and implement change to improve efficiency for other members of your team.
Deep experience using Kandji and core understanding of MDM on the macOS platform.
Experience working in environments with 2500 endpoints.
Extensive knowledge of macOS iOS and Windows systems.
Deep familiarity with SaaS tools including Slack Zoom Confluence Microsoft Office Adobe 1Password GSuite and Github.
Keen interest in technological development and advancements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present subject matter to a wide variety of audiences.
Experience managing medium to large sized projects is a must have.
Extensive experience using Okta.
Experience using Terraform to provision and manage cloudbased IT infrastructure (e.g. for Okta MDM or internal tooling).
Strong fundamentals in Microsoft InTune and Sharepoint.
Serious bonus points if you have:
Experience managing Windows devices with Azure AD.
Experience working with global offices and communicating abroad.
Proficiency scripting in Ruby Python or Bash.

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
