About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and strategic finance professional to join our team as a Financial Performance Accountant. This role is pivotal in maintaining longterm financial sustainability across Council by delivering comprehensive financial analysis pricing models and strategic forecasts.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the QTC 10Year Long Term Forecast Model preparing budgeted financial statements supporting the development of financial sustainability strategies and leading the delivery of Full Cost Pricing models in accordance with National Competition Policy.
The role also involves assisting departments with operational and capital budgeting conducting funding reconciliations (loans reserves grants) and partnering with business units to deliver informed financial decisions. Strong legislative interpretation advanced Excel and modelling skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments are critical to success in this role.
