Library Assistants

About the role

Do you love working with people and have a passion for libraries and community spaces Were looking for friendly and motivated Library Assistants to help deliver outstanding library services across Coffs Harbours vibrant branchesHarry Bailey Memorial Library Toormina and Woolgoolgaand support cultural activities at Yarrila Place. In this varied role youll assist customers at the service desk support library programs and events and help make our spaces welcoming inclusive and accessible for everyone in the community.

About you

Were looking for someone who:

• Delivers friendly professional customer service with a positive attitude
• Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
• Has strong digital skills and can confidently assist others with technology
• Is flexible and willing to work across multiple library locations and across a 7day roster
• Shows initiative and is eager to support library programs events and outreach
• Ideally has experience in libraries cultural facilities or communityfocused roles

Whats on offer

• $34.42 per hour Superannuation 3% salary increase in July 2025
• 2x permanent parttime positions of 14 hours per week available
• Generous leave entitlements long service leave after 5 years.
