Job Description
Your Role at St John of God Geraldton Hospital
As Cook you will assist the Chefs prepare cook and present meals for patients and staff of the hospital which are of a high standard of excellence in accordance with the Australian Dietary Standards.
The Position
Preparation of food as required.
Assist with rotation of stock in fridge and freezer.
Ensure the right food handling technique is adhered to eg. Preparation and
storage.
Assist Chefs in any other food preparation as required.
Provide onsite cooking for meal service as required.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
To succeed you will have a Certificate II in Cookery or equivalent and a minimum of two years relevant kitchen experience. You will have sound communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to understand instructions and recipes. You will have an understanding of food hygiene procedures and be able to visit all parts of the hospital relevant to this position.

We Can Offer You
Hourly rate: $39.46 to $40.25 (inclusive of 25% casual loading) plus 11.5% superannuation
Casual position available
