About the Role

We are currently seeking a Reliability Specialist to join our exciting and recently established Site Networks & Mining Systems team for Copper SA. As a Reliability Specialist your primary focus is creating and modifying SAP structures and maintenance strategies for requests driven from the Technology Operations. In addition reviewing and endorsing SAP Master Data changes and creations being implemented by Project the identification of waste through the analysis of the data in our SAP maintenance system. This may be through over maintenance underutilisation of resources.

This role will include responsibilities for all Copper SA assets: Olympic Dam Carrapateena Prominent Hill and Oak Dam.

This role will see you develop influential relationships with multiple functions and stakeholders in both Operations and Projects. You will be required to work directly with Operational Readiness teams Technology Operations Technicians and Specialists.

In this role your responsibilities will be:

  • Execute changes or creations driven from the Technology Operations team.
  • Review and endorse Master Data changes being delivered by Project teams.
  • Analysis current performance and initiating actions for improvement and waste reduction.
  • Participate in field leadership activities to drive improvements within our safety culture and to build cross functional relationships.


About You

To be successful in this role it is preferable you have:

  • SAP Master data experience including Maintenance Plans and Material Cataloguing.
  • Competency in BHP applications such as SPO Documentum Fiori MoC and Sparesfinder.
  • Ability to create reports in Excel and Power BI.
  • Understanding of the Project Management framework.
