Job Description
Harrison School District is accepting applications for a 912 secondary English position for theschoolyear. The position will be a fulltime (1.0 FTE) teaching position. Primary duties will focus on secondary Englisheducational services. Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience ispreferred but not required.
Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:
Foster a classroom environment that promotes student learning and personal growth
Design and deliver specialized instruction aligned with English Language Arts standards
Implement HighQuality Instructional Materials (HQIM) effectively
Build and maintain positive rapport with students to support engagement and success
Inspire students to develop essential skills attitudes and knowledge based on individual abilities
Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with parents colleagues and the broader school community
Complete and manage required documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner
Analyze and apply student assessment data to inform instruction and improve outcomes
Communicate clearly and professionally within all areas of the school community
Utilize learning management systems and digital tools (e.g. Canvas Google Classroom) to enhanceinstruction
Obtain or currently hold Google Level One Certification
