Paraprofessional English as a Second Language (ESL)
Middle Schools
Start Date August 2025
- Assist ELL students individually and in small groups in the classroom (letter naming sounds sight wordssegmenting blending number ID oral counting comprehension grammar etc.)
- Work with small groups outside of the classroom on targeted skills (see above) and language/vocabulary development
- Weekly/periodic progress monitoring of students skills and progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify areas of focus for groups/individual students
- Attend meetings when applicable
- Work with staff to help support MLL students
- Multilingual preferred
- Highly Qualified
