Job Summary
Responsible for the administration analysis and optimization of all Apotex government rebate programs including processing rebates analyzing data and ensuring compliance with regulations and contracts.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and process all Apotex government rebates including: Medicaid rebates (FFS and Managed Medicaid) state supplemental and SPAPs Tricare Rebates Medicare Coverage Gap and Discarded Drug Rebates VA IFF and IRA price inflation rebates etc.
- Review and validate invoice details against contract terms and program guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and compliant processing of transactions adhering to internal controls policies procedures and regulations.
- Analyze rebate data to identify trends variances and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and implement monthly quarterly and annual reporting on rebates and utilization.
- Conduct trend analysis and outlier utilization analysis.
- Assist in resolving disputes with states related to claims or statement balances.
- Work closely with state personnel internal customers and finance and rebate teams.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of rules and regulations impacting the rebate contracting environment.
- Stay uptodate on changes to state programs and CMS codes.
- Work with internal colleagues in Finance Contracting Account Management and Information Systems.
- May include claim level detail validation research of errors and providing backup for team members
Job Requirements
- Education
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or a minimum of five (5) years of government rebate experience in pharmaceutical environment.
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong personal computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite of products; moderate to advanced Excel skills required.
- Must have experience with government rebate processing systems such as SAP Vistex Model N PbN or equivalent government rebate system system.
- Must be selfmotivated and possess strong business ethics for handling confidential information
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to make independent judgment decisions
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Comfort working with individuals at all levels of the organization.
