Job Description
Payments Product Development (PPD) develops and manages platformoriented technology to advance the global growth of digital commerce and the mobilization of payments. We are seeking a Software Engineer in Test to assist with Development and Test Engineering efforts for the Clearing and Settlement (CAS) system one of Visas largest revenue generating platforms and work with other peer test engineering organizations to insure seamless code releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Build test automation framework to support Clearing and Settlement System
Develop software to augment existing test automation tools
Build test tools to improve software quality and performance
Setup configure and maintain test environments
Collaborate with development team to analyze debug and resolve design and code issues
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree OR 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience
Experience with one or more generalpurpose programming languages
including but not limited to: C/C Java JavaScript or Go
Strong analytical technical and problem solving skills including hands on
experience with operating systems such as Linux.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with other
members of the team
Strong communications skills specifically the absence of repeated
grammatical or typographical errors clear and concise written and spoken
communications and communications that demonstrate professional
judgment.
The ability to take on challenges and address problems headon
Strong ability to collaborate
Highly driven resourceful and results oriented
Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills
Good analytical and problemsolving skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 84600 to 119650 per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
