Job Description
The Apprentice Technician supports the service team by performing minor repairs routine maintenance and handson learning under the guidance of an assigned Master Technician mentor. This role is designed to build the foundational skills and experience needed to advance into a flatrate technician position. OEM training and onthejob mentorship are provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work alongside a Master Technician mentor to learn dealership procedures and technical skills
- Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs as outlined on repair orders
- Assist with vehicle inspections to identify any additional service needs
- Learn to diagnose causes of malfunctions and complete repairs under supervision
- Complete required OEM online training as part of the apprentice curriculum
- Request guidance as needed and maintain an active learning mindset
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive repair
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work fulltime and maintain reliable attendance
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and dealership guidelines
- Must be authorized to work in the USA and possess a valid drivers license.
- Must be able to pass all preemployment requirements including background check MVR and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enrollment in or recent graduate of an automotive technology program
- Previous shop or dealership experience
Additional Information :
Compensation (Hourly):
- $18.00 $20.00 / hour
- Based on experience and skill level
Schedule:
- FULLTIME 5 Days a Week
- Sundays Always Off
