Job Description
Job Summary Junior QA Engineer (Contract)
Location: Fremont CA (100% onsite 5 days/week)
Type: Contract
Interview: Video interview
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and JavaScript
Execute functional regression and integration testing
Perform manual testing and maintain test documentation as needed
Identify report and help resolve bugs in collaboration with developers
Participate in daily Agile standups and development activities
Support QA efforts in CI/CD pipelines
Required Qualifications:
2 4 years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation
Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for scripting and automation
Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium or Pytest
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong debugging analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work onsite in Fremont CA (5 days/week)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in automotive or embedded systems testing
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
Exposure to test case management tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail)
Additional Information:
Contract position; no H1 or CPT candidates
Local candidates or those willing to relocate preferred
Immediate start date
