Job Description
Job Summary Junior QA Engineer (Contract)
- Location: Fremont CA (100% onsite 5 days/week)
- Type: Contract
- Interview: Video interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and JavaScript
- Execute functional regression and integration testing
- Perform manual testing and maintain test documentation as needed
- Identify report and help resolve bugs in collaboration with developers
- Participate in daily Agile stand-ups and development activities
- Support QA efforts in CI/CD pipelines
Required Qualifications:
- 2 4 years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for scripting and automation
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium or Pytest
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong debugging analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Fremont CA (5 days/week)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive or embedded systems testing
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Exposure to test case management tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail)
Additional Information:
- Contract position; no H1 or CPT candidates
- Local candidates or those willing to relocate preferred
- Immediate start date
