AfterSchool Teacher Best Brains Learning Centers (Washington)
Spur a digital staffing agency is seeking a dedicated and punctual AfterSchool Teacher for Best Brains Learning Center.
Position Overview
The AfterSchool Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe engaging and structured learning environment while maintaining student safety and wellbeing. The ideal candidate is professional adaptable and enthusiastic with the ability to effectively lead and support students in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students consistently during assigned hours.
- Teach enrichment lessons based on the provided curriculum.
- Lead students in structured and unstructured activities to enhance learning.
- Maintain classroom order and enforce behavior management systems.
- Ensure that classroom and school spaces remain clean and organized.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the center.
Requirements
- Friendly approachable and professional demeanor.
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to lift objects up to 40 lbs as needed.
- Must maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Washington State Background Check required.
- Washington State Teaching Certificate required.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $20.00 per hour.
- Schedule:
- Mondays & Wednesdays: 4:20 PM 7:30 PM
- Saturdays: 9:50 AM 12:00 PM
- (Hours may vary by location.)
