Thomas is looking for a dynamic individual for the position of Executive Director of Business Innovation. The Executive Director of Business Innovation and Thomas College Corporate Campus is responsible for leading and managing strategic initiatives that serve nontraditional learners corporate partners and clients seeking customized training certifications and professional development. This position oversees Professional and Career Development Programs aligning them to support the Colleges mission and drive nontuition revenue. The Executive Director serves as the primary point of contact for external constituents and plays a critical role in business development and relationship management. The Executive Director will lead the development and growth of new revenuegenerating educational offerings including stackable certificates microcredentials online degree completion pathways competencybased learning and employersponsored programs.
The selected candidate will direct the planning implementation and evaluation of programs and services related to nontraditional learning corporate training and professional development lead implementation of phased strategic initiatives (e.g. program design financial modeling market testing and scaling) and engage faculty and other experts in the cocreation of careeraligned curriculum and pathways for prospective enrollees within the greater Thomas community and beyond. Identify and cultivate relationships with businesses and organizations to develop customized training and certification programs that generate nontuition revenue. Supervise the Business Innovation and Corporate Campus staff. Collaborate with campus stakeholders including Events and Conference Services Graduate and Professional Studies Academic Affairs Advancement Student Services Marketing and Enrollment to ensure alignment of corporate offerings with institutional priorities operational needs and academic quality.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must possess proven leadership and strategic planning skills; strong business development marketing and relationship management skills; excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
