Do you want to build meaningful relationships while making a difference in a childs life Would you enjoy providing dedicated 1:1 care instead of managing multiple patients in one shift

Join our team as a pediatric Homecare Nurse and help your clients grow and thrive in the comfort of their homes.

Schedule


We offer fulltime parttime PRN schedules and weekend package options. While we have specific current needs we also provide flexibility to find a schedule that works for you.

Current needs

Full Time:

  • Ankeny 9yearold 8am8pm Wednesday Thursday and Saturday. Occasion need for Monday Tuesday and Friday.
  • Des Moines 5monthold 12 pm12 am shirts available 7 days per week.

Benefits


Fulltime roles are eligible for health benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance paid time off and a 403b retirement account with a company match. 40 hours of paid time off is frontloaded and start accruing immediately.

Parttime roles are eligible for select benefits including paid time off and retirement with company match.

What Youll Do

  • Serve as the sole provider of a full range of nursing services as defined within the nursing scope of practice physicians orders and theclient specific care plan.

    • Youll never be sent to a home unprepared! All staff receive inhome client specific training with another nurse prior to working alone in the client home.

    • Clinical support from experienced nurses is available during all operating hours.

  • Communicate effectively respectfully and professionally with all members of the client care team to assure assigned childs care needs are assessed communicated and met.

  • Provide training to clients families and staff as needed to help advance the skills and knowledge of all people associated with a childs care delivery.

What Youll Need

  • Current valid license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Iowa

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs be mobile within the assigned work area and frequently bend lift reach and stand.

  • Documentation of current CPR/BLS certification

  • Ability to communicate effectively in reading writing and speaking the English language
