Dietary Supervisor The Village at Brookwood

Schedule: Tuesday Saturday or Sunday Thursday hours are negotiable
Salary range is $18$23 per hour

The Village at Brookwood located in Burlington North Carolina offers a full continuum of care services for older adults including independent living assisted living skilled nursing and memory care.
This position typically performs the following functions:
- Maintains dietary information and medical charting current and up to date to assure efficiencyquality accuracy and a high degree of resident satisfaction regarding food temperature level ofservice and appearance of residents trays. Initiating counseling and other actions needed to correctproblems.
- While serving on tray line or working in assisted living and/or nursing units monitors and evaluatesresident services on a continuing basis to ensure accuracy and timeliness of services andtaking corrective action when necessary.
- Takes action to make changes and improvements to meet the desired level of service expected byresidents.
- Supervises and/or works on resident tray line to ensure tray service conforms to department goals for tray service and dietary requests and diet orders are observed.
- Works with other personnel in Dining Services to assure accurate and efficient delivery of residentmeals consistent with dietary requirements and individual preferences.
- Works closely with the Director consulting Dietitian and Dining Services Supervisors to assureeffective coordination of production requirements for different diets served as well as specialrequests from residents.
- Assures proper portion control procedures are in effect and followed.
- Assures all assisted living and nursing unit service policies and procedures are in effect and followed.
- Maintain sanitation standards that comply with state and local regulations in all areas of service.
- Collects and reports quality assurance information.
- Participates in Care Planning completes dietary part of MDS.
- Evaluates residents for weight loss or gain dehydration skin breakdown and recommend appropriate dietary means to correct problem.
Successful candidates will have at least 2 years supervisory experience in healthcare diningServsafe Manager Certification and
Certified Dietary Manager preferred previous experience with Diet Tech Software.
