Heavy Equipment Mobilization Driver

THE JOB:

• You will be part of our operations department. The job involves transporting construction equipment (Asphalt Milling Machine Skid Steer Brom Tractors etc.) in a fastpaced work environment. This position is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual. Must be familiar with Orange Osceola Brevard Seminole and surrounding counties. This position is very physically demanding and requires lifting 2575 Lbs. multiple times a day and occasional lifting of 75100 lbs.

WHAT YOULL DO:

• Completes Driver Vehicle Inspection prior to and at the end of each shift.
• In coordination with operations executes daily scheduled mobilization of company equipment as required.
• In coordination with operations executes mobilization of rental and/or thirdparty equipment.
• Requires to operates equipment to load and unload.
• Ensure mobilizations are executed in an efficient safe and timely manner.
• Safely prepares and secures equipment for loading and unloading to prevent injuries or damage.
• Inspect and report defects accidents damage to equipment.
• Requires some overnight work to support onsite mobilizations.
• Quickly responds to emergency unscheduled mobilizations which may include but not limited to overnight weekend and holiday calls.
• Understands and follows all FMCSA regulations and Company safety requirements.
• Represents TransPremier in a positive and professional manner.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

• Valid CDL Class A
• Three plus years hauling heavy equipment.
• Proven ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and understand oversize/specialty permits.
• Knowledge of Construction equipment a plus.
• Ability to travel for extended periods.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift 50 to 75 lbs.
• Climbing stooping bending squatting lifting stretching pulling.
• May require sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• A high level of awareness of surroundings and environment.

This is a fulltime position based at our Orlando FL location.
