- Provide consultation and technical direction on translating business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs.
- Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.
- Serve as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions. Personally develop and deliver code modules stable application systems and integrated enterprise software solutions within various computing environments.
- Resolve complex problems spanning multiple applications to drive improvements across portfolios; lead projects with significant business implications participate in planning and priority estimates and advise Software Engineers; executes with limited guidance.
- Lead development of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions to ensure specifications are flexible scalable and maintainable and meet architectural standards.
- Educate others on current architectural standards and guidelines to drive efficiency when leading the design efforts of complex business and enterprise software solutions.
- Support systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for large complex crossfunctional application initiatives by providing insight to testing teams in order to ensure the appropriate depth of test coverage.
- Mentor and advise others in all software development lifecycle phases by applying and sharing an indepth understanding of company and industry methodologies policies standards and controls.
- Communicate changes in software architecture and coach others to apply this understanding to software solutions; resolves escalated issues.
- Lead efforts to improve engineering test and operational excellence best practices.
- Solve complex crossfunctional architecture/design and business problems; solutions are extensible; work to simplify optimize remove bottlenecks etc.
- Mentor and advise others sharing an indepth understanding of company and industry methodologies policies standards and controls.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related technical field.
- Must have 5 years of progressive experience database administration or IT Infrastructure positions performing/utilizing the following:
- Working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
- Supporting DBMS including MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Cloud environments (including AWS) and databases (including Aurora) in the cloud environment
- Performing MySQL database administration in complex environments including backups and monitoring
- Performing PostgreSQL database administration in complex environments including backups and monitoring
- Writing and optimizing SQL statements
- Demonstrating expertise with Ansible automation
- Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Charlotte NC. Must be available to travel to Charlotte NC regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24hours notice.
