Intake Nurse
We are a growing private 134bed psychiatric hospital that is dedicated to providing highquality care for adults geriatrics and adolescents (ages 517) who are suffering from behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. Our patients recover at our new stateoftheart medical facility in the Seven Hills area of Henderson Nevada. Henderson is one of the fastest growing cities in the US and is located just 7 miles from the famed Las Vegas Strip and a couple of miles from beautiful Lake Mead.

Join the team of highly dedicated mental health professionals. We are presently looking for FT Intake Nurses (Shifts are 7 pm7:30 am Night Shift needed)who will be responsible for:
- Reviewing clinical and medical documentation from community hospitals and assessments at Seven Hills Hospital for appropriateness for Seven Hills.
- Providing clinical information to and taking admitting orders from Seven Hills Psychiatrists
- Responding to prospective patients and referral channels by providing psychological assessments and/or appropriate treatment options.
- Providing managed care entities with clinical information regarding patient psychiatric hospitalization.
- Providing crisis intervention to prospective patients their families and external agencies via telephone and/or in person.
- Making appropriate referrals based on patients needs and preferences.
Qualifications:
Education:
A Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
Experience:
At least 2 years experience in a psychiatric setting as Intake Nurse or related experience.
Licensure:
NV Registered Nurse license
1 year Med Surge Experience Preferred
Requires Familiarity of Microsoft Excel
