Job Description
Summary:
On behalf of our client we are looking for a detailoriented and reliable Cashier cum Bookkeeper to join our team. This dualrole position requires strong numerical and organizational skills to manage daily cash transactions while ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will contribute to seamless financial operations uphold customer service standards and support bookkeeping functions.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Process all financial transactions issue customer receipts and ensure accuracy.
- Count and confirm cash drawer amounts at the start of the shifts.
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate postings.
- Ensure transactions are logged correctly in daybook supplier ledgers customer ledgers and general ledgers.
- Maintain and update periodic financial reports and spreadsheets
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel.
- Expertise in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Tally Excel).
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and cash handling.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
