Bosch is looking for a Corporate Communications and Governmental Affairs to support its engagement across Southeast Asia and around a range of policy and communication areas relevant to our business. Reporting to the Head of Regional Corporate Communications and Governmental Affairs you will play a key role in developing and executing public affairs initiatives while representing Boschs interests with external stakeholders across government industry and business chamber partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies and approaches to drive strategic engagement with government industry and relevant partners that achieve Boschs business objectives
- Monitor identify analyse and act on emerging changes trends and issues in the macroeconomic trade political and regulatory environment including the competitive landscape and impact of government policies on Bosch
- Represent Bosch in cultivating relationships with external stakeholders including government officials business chambers embassies and organisations.
- Prepare briefs and other materials to inform and support Boschs policy positions with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide guidance to team members across the organisation on approach and interactions with relevant government bodies to achieve strategic alignment on Boschs initiatives with government priorities
- Support in delivering thought leadership initiatives on relevant platforms in Southeast Asia
- Develop and coordinate opportunities for executive engagements on key topics with government officials including highlevel political visits in Germany and Southeast Asia
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders for effective businessenabling activities in Southeast Asia
Qualifications :
- At least 35 years of experience with Bachelors degree in relevant field such as public affairs government affairs public policy public relations communications.
- Strong analytical communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage with complex stakeholders with different cultural and occupational backgrounds
- Experience in working with government agencies or advocacy groups
- Proactive team player experienced in project management and able to work effectively with teams across organizational and functional boundaries
- Excellent written and spoken English. Proficiency in additional Southeast Asian languages is a plus
- Resourceful and an independent worker
