Your mission
As Business Line Manager for Surface Drilling you lead the surface drills business within our northern European sales area. Youre responsible for delivering strong financial results by driving strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence. You work closely with internal stakeholdersfrom sales teams and account managers to product and pricing managersand build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and deliver value.
As a key member of the Sales Area Management Team you contribute to broader business decisions and strategy. Your role includes managing sales performance developing business plans supporting application development and ensuring compliance with EHS standards. Youll also lead one direct report and collaborate with crossfunctional teams both across the region and globally.
You report to the Sales Area Vice President. The location for this position is flexible between Sweden and Finland and allows for a hybrid schedule where you can combine office and remote work. Some travel within the sales area (up to 50%) is included.
Your profile
You bring a masters degree in engineering business or economics along with several years experience in sales and management. Youve worked in complex crossfunctional environmentsideally in mining or constructionand youre confident in driving sales strategies managing customer relationships and leading teams. You understand the full customer value chain and have experience with budgeting forecasting and contract development. Fluency in English is essential.
Youre a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a passion for developing people. Leading by example promoting safety and sustainability and thriving in a collaborative environment are traits that define you. You demonstrate selfawareness actively seek feedback and are committed to growing both personally and professionally. You know how to motivate teams build trust and drive results through others. Most importantly youre a team player whos ready to contribute to our shared success at SMR.
