AtkinsRalis is seeking a motivated and detailoriented Planning Manager to support programme management and schedule control for a facilities and Maintenance Project. The selected candidate will assist in monitoring maintenance progress analyzing schedule risks verifying contractor submissions and preparing internal reporting for the supervision team.
This position requires at least 15 years of experience in project planning with 7 years in and Management projects using Primavera P6.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify contractors baseline programme weekly and monthly updates and lookahead schedules.
Monitor actual progress onsite against the approved programme and highlight slippages and risks.
Assist in preparation of dashboards progress charts and critical path analysis.
Support time impact analysis (TIA) delay evaluations and EOT claims with the Senior Planning Engineer.
Coordinate with site inspectors and discipline engineers to gather accurate progress data.
Help update internal reporting tools milestones and performance indicators as per PMDS framework.
Prepare progress summary reports histograms and Scurves for internal and client review.
Contribute to recovery planning and mitigation strategy preparation in case of delays.
Maintain accurate records of programme revisions progress reports and tracking logs.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering Technical or Commercial Disciplin
Minimum 7 years total experience with at least 5 in planning of Facilities and maintenance projects.
Primavera P6 (Essential); PMP or planning diploma (preferred).
Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
Proficient in Primavera P6 Excel MS Project and reporting dashboards (Power BI optional).
Familiar with document management systems (DCS) MS Office AutoCAD (viewing) and siterelated software.
Key Competencies:
Strong understanding of project planning principles and construction sequencing.
Proficiency in preparing and updating detailed construction schedules.
Ability to work under guidance and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Accurate and reliable in data collection analysis and reporting.
Familiar with reporting formats and schedule control practices (preferred).
