O&M Offtake Implementation Lead
Location: remote Warsaw office
We are looking for experienced specialist to join offshore wind project in Poland. This role offers opportunity to drive the successful implementation of PPAs within the renewable energy sector.
You will work at the intersection of legal technical and commercial operationsensuring that governance systems and stakeholder alignment are in place for optimal value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all governance systems and processes needed for implementing PPA and managing offtaker relations are in place.
- Familiarise yourself with Polish law impacting PPA.
- Provide input during PPA negotiations with offtakers.
- Challenge offtakers to ensure they have a setup that maximises the PPAs value.
Major Tasks:
- Ensure the client has an organisational setup that optimises the PPAs value.
- Establish relevant procedures processes and internal controls.
- Align with stakeholders to ensure endtoend process implementation from forecasting to payment.
- Develop and implement a process for forecasting available MW and communicating this to offtakers.
- Identify implement and test relevant software for forecasting and communication before first power.
- Verify the correct value of payments from offtakers against delivered/forecasted production.
- Train personnel on software procedures and processes before first power.
- Review and confirm the offtakers preparedness in terms of processes resources technical aspects IT and cybersecurity and legal aspects.
- Conduct dry runs with the offtaker before the start of power generation.
Key Deliverables:
- A fully functional setup of the PPA process under the clients Asset Management organisation from first power.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the energy sector.
- Strong understanding of PPA and related legal frameworks.
- English and Polish language knowledge
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and forecasting tools.
- Strong organisational and process implementation skills.
- Ability to train and familiarise teams with new systems and processes.
