As a Senior Executive BD you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the solar energy market. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with 24 years of experience in solar energy. On joining our team your responsibility will be to drive the growth of solar rooftop and solar openaccess projects.
1. Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and projects in the solar rooftop and solar open access
Analyze the feasibility and viability of solar projects based on technical financial and regulatory aspects.
Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to stay ahead of the curve
2. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Generate new business leads and prospects through targeted outreach.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients interested in solar rooftops and open access solutions
3. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders majorly corporates and industrial clients.
Collaborate with clients to understand their energy needs and propose customized solar solutions.
4. Sales and Proposal Development:
Prepare and present compelling proposals to clients outlining the benefits and ROI of solar projects.
Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
5. Project Coordination:
Coordinate with technical and project management teams to ensure the successful implementation of projects
Monitor project progress and highlight any issues that may arise during the development and execution phases
6. Regulatory Compliance:
Stay connected with the latest regulatory changes and requirements related to solar energy projects in India.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards with permitting team.
Requirements
1. Bachelors degree in Engineering Renewable Energy or a related field.
2. Ability to analyze market trends competitive landscape and customer insights to drive growth strategies.
3. Strong understanding of solar energy technologies project development processes permitting financing models and policy/regulatory landscape.
4. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
5. 24 years of experience in business development preferably in the solar energy sector.
6. Understanding of the solar sector and regulatory landscape in India.
7. Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
