Job Description
A reputed FMCG manufacturing unit is looking for an experienced and reliable AC Mechanic to install maintain and repair air conditioning systems across production storage and office areas. The role involves conducting routine inspections ensuring equipment operates efficiently and minimizing downtime in temperaturesensitive environments. The ideal candidate should be skilled in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems and should follow safety and maintenance protocols. Prior experience in an FMCG or industrial setup is preferred due to the critical nature of climate control in production and storage processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Install maintain and repair HVAC systems in production and storage areas.
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on AC units and ventilation systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
Replace defective components recharge refrigerants and calibrate system controls.
Ensure temperature control for cold storage and sensitive production environments.
Maintain maintenance logs and report issues to the facility management team.
Follow safety protocols and environmental standards during repair work.
Respond promptly to urgent repair requests and minimize equipment downtime.
Requirements
Requirements:
ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or related field.
2 5 years of handson experience in AC maintenance preferably in an industrial/FMCG setting.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems components and electrical circuits.
Ability to work with tools gauges and testing equipment.
Basic understanding of cold storage requirements in FMCG operations.
Good problemsolving and time management skills.
Willingness to work in shifts or oncall if required.
