Job summary
Were looking for a Technical Writer to join our application security team and help create clear accurate and userfriendly documentation for products including UltraDDoS Protect and UltraWAF. These services provide critical protection against distributed denialofservice (DDoS) attacks malicious traffic and web application threats.
In this role youll collaborate with product managers engineers and support teams to understand how these products work and how customers use themthen translate that understanding into documentation that supports successful implementation and usage. Youll contribute to a range of content including user guides release notes API documentation and troubleshooting resources.
What you will do
- Create and maintain technical documentation for DigiCerts application security products including howto guides feature overviews FAQs and support materials
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather technical details workflows and use cases
- Participate in product demos engineering discussions and sprint reviews to stay informed on upcoming changes and releases
- Ensure documentation is accurate consistent and aligned with DigiCerts product and content standards
- Help define content structure and improve documentation processes and tooling as the product suite evolves
- Assist in managing and publishing content in versioncontrolled or CMSbased environments
What you will have
- 1 years of experience in technical writing product documentation or a related technical communication role
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- A collaborative working style and the ability to navigate technical discussions with confidence and curiosity
- Familiarity with tools such as Markdown Git HTML Confluence or similar
- An interest in cybersecurity cloud infrastructure or enterprise applications
- Bachelors degree in Technical Communication Computer Science Engineering English or a related fieldor equivalent work experience
Nice to have
- Experience writing for securityfocused products especially DDoS mitigation or WAF solutions
- Exposure to networking application security or SaaS platforms
- Experience creating or editing developerfacing documentation (e.g. APIs SDKs integration guides)
- Familiarity with agile development environments and software release cycles
