Team Overview
Our Research & Development (R&D) team is the technical talent at the heart of our product suite overseeing the product development lifecycle from concept to delivery. From engineering to quality assurance to data science the R&D team ensures our customers seamlessly use our products and can depend on their consistency.
Responsibilities
Description
The DevOps team plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations to enhance the efficiency reliability and quality of software development and deployment processes. The DevOps team aims to streamline and enhance the entire software development lifecycle improving collaboration increasing automation and ensuring the reliability security and scalability of applications and infrastructure.
Your daytoday job will consist of:
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and testing of a K12 ERP platform.
- Take ownership of the Octopus Deploy process and explore alternatives like Terraform.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Ensure the reliability and scalability of deployment pipelines.
- Document automation processes and provide training to team members.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant and related work experience.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Additional experience may be substitute for an advanced Degree.
- Experience with deployment automation tools such as Octopus Deploy ansible chef puppet or Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with VMS
