Banyan is seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst to join our Tech & Data Strategy team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic startuplike environment where fresh ideas are valued and data is the driving force behind strategic decisions. Based in Chennai this position provides broad exposure to business operations and collaboration with our onshore team in Canada/US.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Visualization and Reporting:
Design develop and implement Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics.
Provide actionable insights to drive decisionmaking across various departments.
2. Data Preparation and Transformation:
Utilize advanced data transformation tools to clean prepare and optimize large datasets.
Ensure data quality and accessibility for analytics processes supporting robust decisionmaking.
3. SQL and Database Management:
Manage query and manipulate data across multiple databases using SQL.
Optimize data retrieval and storage processes to support analytics.
Snowflake experience is a plus.
4. Salesforce Integration and Backend Operations:
Integrate Salesforce CRM data with corporate databases and visualization tools.
Leverage SOQL to create complex Salesforce reports and enhance datadriven marketing and sales strategies.
Understand Salesforce data models to support seamless integration and insights.
5. Performance Optimization:
Regularly assess data processes and dashboard performance.
Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
6. Collaboration and Insights Delivery:
Partner with crossfunctional teams to deliver actionable insights and foster a culture of datadriven decisionmaking.
Continuously innovate analytical approaches to support strategic business objectives.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Data Visualization: Strong expertise in Tableau for developing insightful dashboards and reports.
Data Preparation: Proficiency in using transformation tools to clean and merge datasets; experience with ETL processes and data pipelines.
SQL Expertise: Advanced knowledge of SQL for managing relational databases writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
Salesforce Experience (Preferred): Handson experience with Salesforce including data extraction loading techniques and leveraging Salesforce data models.
Snowflake Knowledge: Familiarity with Snowflake is advantageous.
Analytical and ProblemSolving Skills:
Ability to interpret complex datasets diagnose issues and deliver actionable insights.
A keen eye for detail to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Creative thinking for crafting innovative solutions and approaches.
Soft Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication for presenting findings and collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
Teamoriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively.
Adaptability to thrive in a fastpaced and evolving environment.
Educational Background:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science or a related field.
