Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring a Senior Sonographer into our Hospital in Galway Ireland.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- In accordance with established rules and operational protocols the Senior Sonographer will be in charge of conducting vascular and general ultrasound examinations with a high degree of technical excellence compassion and efficiency.
- Using an evidencebased care planning strategy oversee patient care to guarantee the highest professional standards.
- Operating within the professional requirements of the Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy the position holder will be expected to scan autonomously and provide the radiologist with early reports.
- Be adaptable when responding to service requirements.
- Participate in audit and quality assurance initiatives and help put the results into practice.
- In accordance with legal requirements respect and uphold the service users privacy dignity and confidentiality in all hospital operations.
Requirements
- Supply documentation proving your statutory registration on the Radiographers Registers Radiography Division which is kept up to date by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU.
- Possess two years of fulltime postqualification ultrasound clinical experience or two years total.
- Hold an accredited postgraduate ultrasonography degree.
