Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
RecruitNet International Ltd is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for a Nursing Home in Co Galway Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Clinical practice is monitored using residentspecific care plans.
- Carrying out internal audits and monitoring their outcomes.
- Employee onboarding as well as continuing education and training.
- Ensuring that the companys and HIQAs standards processes and guidelines are followed.
- Upkeep of administrative processes when the administrator is not present.
- Holding frequent sessions for communication with every member of the clinical staff.
- Build strong relationships with outside community organisations to invite the neighbourhood into the home and make it easier for residents to attend events and activities there.
Requirements
- Qualified RGN who has provided care for an elderly person for at least three of the previous six years.
- A postregistration management degree in medicine or a similar discipline.
- Three years or more of management experience in the health and social care sector.
- Registered in the relevant NMBI live registration section.
- Demonstrated success in clinical management in healthcare.
- Outstanding organisational communication and leadership abilities.
