Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring a CNM 1 Day of Surgery Admissions Lounge (DOSAL) for a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhering to the NMBIs professional code of conduct for nurses; taking part in defining the scope of practice; and offering competent guidance and leadership for nursing services.
- To encourage providing highquality care to all patients treated in the department.
- To organize and make sure that The Day of Surgery Admissions Lounge operates smoothly and that resources are used effectively.
- To provide services flexibly.
- To create and launch a preadmission phone service to support the admissions service.
- To guarantee an effective flow process for the patients of the Day of Surgery admissions lounge to collaborate closely and to communicate openly and promptly with the managers in the Theatre Department and inpatient wards.
Requirements
- Be listed on the NMBIs general section of the nursing registry (important)
- Possess two to four years of experience working in an acute setting after registering (important)
- Possess a recognized degree or expertise in the field (preferred)
- Possess at least one year of managerial experience; this is preferred.
- Have finished a management training course (preferred)
- possess demonstrated clinical and professional skills
- Possess strong IT abilities and be adept at using all pertinent apps.
- Possess outstanding interpersonal skills and the capacity to operate independently.
- Possess outstanding communication skills and the capacity to interact constructively with both personnel and patients.
