Job Description
Our Client a renowned global pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Architect to support global financial operations for a leading pharmaceutical organization s newly established Global RecordtoReport (RTR) Hub in Cork Ireland. This role requires a handson expert to drive incident resolution govern change requests (CRs) and recommend industry best practices (IBPs) for SAP FI/CO solutions. The position is critical to ensuring seamless financial operations and alignment with SAP best practices.
This is a contractual for 6 months with the likelihood of extension. The selected candidate will need to be onsite at the clients Cork Ireland office 23 days/week.
The Role.
- Provide handson SAP FI/CO support for incident management troubleshooting and system optimization
- Govern and review Change Requests (CRs) ensuring alignment with business requirements and compliance standards
- Recommend and implement SAP IBPs (Industry Best Practices) to enhance system efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support Cork s global RTR hub operations
- Conduct system audits resolve configuration issues and ensure data integrity in FI/CO modules
- Mentor junior team members and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA trends and advancements to drive innovation in financial processes
Requirements
- SAP Certification in FI/CO (mandatory)
- 8 years of handson experience in SAP FI/CO configuration implementation and support
- Deep expertise in RecordtoReport (RTR) processes financial closing and integration with SD/MM modules
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or BPC is a plus
- Strong understanding of CR governance incident management (ITIL) and SAP security protocols
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/life sciences sector preferred
5 7 years of experience in implementing and supporting Ariba solutions (Ariba SCC, Ariba SLP, Ariba Procurement). Knowledge of Ariba integration with SAP ERP or other systems is a plus. Strong understanding of procurement and invoicing processes. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. High Preference. Ariba certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Ariba Procurement). Experience with Ariba Network and Supplier Collaboration. Knowledge of cloud-based procurement solutions and best practices
