Job Description
Joining us as a Junior Software Engineer you will have the opportunity to be trained in our Product Academy and work as a part of our highly skilled agile teams within our inhouse developed software products that impact the life of millions of EU citizens.
As part of the Academy you will rotate through multiple roles including Software Development & Delivery Software Testing and Business Analysis & Product Management to build a wellrounded understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
Our blended approach in learning combines classroom trainings online modules job shadowing & mentoring while you will receive continuous feedback on your progress.
Joining us as a Junior Software Engineer you will:
- Contribute to all phases of fullcycle IT projects from requirements analysis to customization specifications for any development needed UAT support user training
- Develop and maintain code application libraries and produce technical documentation
- Develop innovative concepts and implement sophisticated consulting solutions
- Identify diagnose and resolve issues in software applications
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to understand user needs and deliver valuable features
- Act as a business advisor to the clients.
Qualifications :
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or relevant discipline. Masters degree will be considered as a plus
- Analytical thinking skills and problemsolving abilities
- Familiarity with at least one of the following: Java Spring Spring boot Microservices Architecture Angular React Docker Kafka Kubernetes Selenium and Cucumber
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- A customeroriented personality with attention to detail
- Solid command of the English language (written & verbal).
