At our Nursery In Barnet we are looking for an experienced senior practitioner to join our team in supporting within the rooms working with the team and room leader. Salary is c 31k depending on experience and with great benefits. On good transport links too.
The Hyde Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group and is based in High Barnet in the beautiful Iconic Hyde Institute building. Registered for 88 children our lovely setting is minutes away from lovely green spaces which the Nursery takes full advantage of whatever the weather together with having access through the nursery to free flow in to their lovely outdoor gardens.
Requirements
As Assistant Head of Room you will:
Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development working as part of the team
Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child staff parent and visitor always
Work alongside the Head Of Room in supporting the team to ensure best practice always.
Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
Qualified level 3 or above with at least 3 years experience of working in a day nursery and at least 1 year experience in a senior nursery practitioner role.
