Clinical Lead Pre Assessment
The Priory Hospital
37.5 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to 44500.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join their team of staff in thePre Assessmentdepartment.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- Lead and coordinate the daily clinical operations of your department ensuring appropriate skill mix safe staffing levels and effective patient care.
- Supervise and support nursing staff allocating duties based on patient need competency and development goals.
- Actively manage rotas annual leave and study leave to maintain service continuity.
- Work alongside the DOCS/CSM to support strategic service development ensuring efficient delivery of care and positive patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation professional standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. CQC HIS HIW).
- Maintain professional standards in accordance with the NMC Code and clinical best practice guidelines.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
- Proven experience in a senior nursing or supervisory leadership role.
- Strong understanding of clinical governance risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication mentorship and decisionmaking skills.
- Ability to lead manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of continued professional development and competency in advanced nursing practice.
