Production Operative
Salary: 12.21 per hour
Location: Eastfield Glasgow G72 area
Hours: 37 per week; Monday to Thursday 8am 4:30pm & Friday 8am 1pm
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Full Time Permanent
Syntech Recruitment are proud to partner with a high precision component manufacturer who produce complex parts for a variety of regulated industries. We are searching for multiple production operatives to join their team based near Eastfield Glasgow G72 area.
Full training provided anyone with a background in engineering or manufacturing would be ideal.

Production Operative Responsibilities: On the job training
- Operate manual chemical plating lines to apply a range of coatings including Zinc ZincNickel Electroless Nickel Gold and Silver in accordance with production requirements.
- Monitor and maintain chemical bath integrity performing regular analysis and making precise chemical additions as necessary.
- Conduct Xray thickness testing to verify coating consistency and compliance with specification standards.
- Accurately complete job cards documenting all processes materials used and parameters followed for traceability and quality assurance.
Production Operative Requirements:
- Educated to standard grade/secondary school level with a sound understanding of practical working environments.
- Good manual dexterity with demonstrable experience in handson or detailfocused tasks.
- Experience working to high quality standards on precisionengineered components is desirable.
- Strong awareness of health and safety protocols with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Previous plating or surface treatment experience is advantageous though full training will be provided for the right candidate.
