We are currently recruiting for Jetvac Operatives to join our team delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across the Yorkshire Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.


Due to a contract win we are looking for applicants all around the Yorkshire Regions

Working Hours & Location

  • Location: Bradford
  • Hours: 47.5 hours per week

About the Role

Jetvac Operative you will be:

  • Attending to customers informing them of works due to be carried out and answering any concerns
  • Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages leaks or damage that could hinder water flow.
  • reporting all findings / data to the appropriate teams
  • assisting with all aspects of high pressure water jetting
  • Operate highpressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains sewers pipes and other wastewater systems.
  • Adjust pressure levels based on the condition of the system and the nature of the blockage (e.g. grease debris or tree roots).
  • Use the equipment to remove waste materials and prevent buildup in drains and sewer lines.
  • Competent in using an electronic device laptop / tablet for data entry purposes
  • Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of highpressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
  • Assist with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.

Experience and Qualifications: (Desirable but not essential unless stated as required)

  • Full UK driving license
  • Water Jetting Association Red or blue book
  • Banksman
  • Manual Handling
  • Emergency First Aid
  • NRSWA
  • EUSR National Water Hygiene
  • Medium risk confined space

Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
