What is the role
The purpose of the role is to provide assistance to the Architectural Team who coordinate design and maintain technical support to all regional departments and site based teams to enable the region to achieve its objectives and agreed goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assistance in the preparation of Land Appraisal Viabilities
- Working closely with the Architectural Team in the production of planning applications
- Interact closely with design and planning team to deliver planning consents
- Building Regulation/CML issues
- Assisting in the production of all architectural drawings for start on site
- Helping to produce designs in agreed timescales to ensure regional targets are achieved.
- Help provide architectural support and technical guidance for regional site and office based operations.
- Help to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and Statutory Authorities.
- Preparation and coordination of Legal Conveyance Plans.
- Maintain documentation for the standard product portfolio.
What experience do I need
- Construction and the Built Environment or Architecture and have a keen interest in design.
- Ideally undertaking/has undertaken a Construction Related Course such as
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of Excel and Word. Knowledge of AutoCAD would be ideal.
- Uses Own initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to agreed timescales.
- Ability to work in a team and as an individual.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to visualise a problem and look to solve it.
- Attend Day Release College/University in order to obtain a Construction related HNC or Degree
- Must undertake continuous professional development.
- Must have AC grades in Mathematics English and Science.
