At AXA were seeking a dedicated individual to join our People Services team in Bolton on a full time 12month fixedterm contract.

As a People Services Advisor youll play a crucial part in helping our customers find the right solutions whether its providing expert advice over the phone handling tasks through our case management system Help or efficiently dealing with email inquiries. Youll also be responsible for monitoring and qualitychecking tasks that support our business processes as well as assisting in the administration of vital business projects in our HR system MyWorkday.

At AXA we work smart empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them their team and our customers. Youll work at least 40% of your week away from home moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations visiting clients or attending industry events.

What youll be doing:

  • Answering incoming calls to the People Services team providing advice and assistance.
  • Managing a portfolio of cases in the Help system.
  • Administering People Services tasks and processing efficiently covering the whole employee lifecycle from onboarding and screening through to leavers.
  • Escalating issues to leaders People Services and the business as necessary.
  • Delivering quality customer service while collaborating with other teams such as payroll.
  • Prioritising and managing tasks in the inbox.
  • Maintaining accurate data in MyWorkday and the Help system.
  • Providing HR support and advice to employees managers and candidates.

What youll bring:

  • Experience in a customer service telephonebased role and proven administration skills.
  • Customer focused with the ability to connect with a variety of people over the phone and in writing whilst conducting yourself in a professional manner.
  • Experience using Case Management Systems.
  • Analytical highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Understands and demonstrates the importance of Data Protection and its associated risks.
  • Computer literate with experience of MS Office and IT tools demonstrating accuracy and speed when updating relevant HR systems.
  • Experience of working in an HR Shared Services team and working knowledge of employment law would be advantageous.
