The role & you
Are you interested in joining our Civil Construction team at MidCoast Council Our Labourer positions are a great opportunity to kickstart your career in the civil construction industry where you can get your hands dirty and make a real impact on services that strengthen the local community.
The key responsibilities of the role include carrying out maintenance and construction duties in relation to roads bridges and drainage and performing traffic control duties when required. We are seeking reliable teamfocused individuals who thrive in a physical work environment and who demonstrate a genuine interest in the civil construction industry.
Successful candidates will hold at minimum:
You will also need to be willing to obtain a Traffic Controllers Card and Implement Traffic Control Plans Card.
Please note that to be a successful candidate for this role youll be required to complete a preemployment medical check (this will include a drug and alcohol test sight and hearing functional and medical component).

Salary: Commencing salary range circa $52000 to $57000 p.a. plus superannuation (dependent on skills and experience).
Location: Your normal place of work will be the Gloucester Depot located on Oak Street Gloucester NSW 2422. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure:Permanent Full Time.
