JOB TITLE:Cleaner
LOCATION: Assembly Rooms Edinburgh
SHIFT PATTERN:5 over 7 37.5 hours per week
PAY RATE: 12.95 per hour

OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION
Cleaning office and events venue premises for prestigious Client includes washrooms kitchens venue hall and any surrounding areas.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Hoovering/mopping cleaning washrooms and kitchens
Carrying out deep cleans as required and using buffers and carpet cleaners training provided
Ensuring premises are safe and disinfected regularly
Removing waste replenishing consumables and supplies and attending reactive jobs (spillages)
Customer Service as working along Client and Clients staff
Person Specification:
Must be well presented and good communicator
Must have a cando attitude and polite and approachable demeanour
Hardworking and proactive good timekeeping and attendance record
Essential
- Previous cleaning experience preferred with focus on unsupervised work and prioritising workload
- Strong customer service/care and leadership skills
- Problem solving and time management skills desired
- Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative
- Flexible and proactive attitude essential
- Understanding & knowledge of health and safety policies
- Needs to represent ABM values on site by being presentable uniformed and helpful at all times Willing to go the extra mile
- Always follow Company Policies and procedures
- Ensure that the work environment and equipment are safe and well maintained
- Identify and correct hazardous conditions
