Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and making a real difference in your community If so Mid Sussex District Council is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Communities Business Support Team.

About the Role

We are seeking a team player who can make a difference to our Service; within which youll have an opportunity to gain experience across an extensive range of work.

As a Support Officer youll be a vital member of the Communities Directorate working alongside other Officers to deliver highquality administrative and customer service support.

This role is perfect for someone with a strong eye for detail and excellent IT and administrative skills.

Your role will involve:

  • Customer Service Enquiries and Communication Triaging enquires from members of the public businesses other local authorities and business partners.
  • Administrative Support Maintain and oversee the various Directorate databases including data entry and document management. Processing applications and referrals.
  • Meeting Coordination and Support Provide support to the directorates working groups and projects.
  • Financial Administration Processing Purchase Orders invoices credit card transactions & handling incoming payments.
