Job Description
Do you want to build tools and services that fundamentally improve the development experience for your fellow software developers The RBKS Developer Experience (DevX) team is looking for passionate software developers to transform the way our customers improve write and execute test automation software. We develop frameworks and services that enable teams to improve the quality of their products through testing and feedback at every stage of the software lifecycle. We make best practices the path of least resistance. Our tools are automated intelligent ubiquitous and wherever possible we automatically perform actions on behalf of our customers/software engineers.
Key job responsibilities
In this role you will:
Write clean maintainable code and perform peer codereviews;
Work with DevX and internal teams to prioritise design and build new solutions for our customers;
Work with other team members to investigate design approaches prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
You will be successful in this role if you:
Enjoy collaborating with partners colleagues and teams across the world;
Have previous expertise working with firmware and distributed systems;
Can drive tasks to completion and take full ownership of projects;
Are comfortable with proactive outward communication and technical leadership;
Can deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems.
About the team
Our mission is to enhance the developer experience at RBKS enabling engineers to create loveable products and features for our customers. We provide tools data and infrastructure that will reduce the time to get code from developers to customer devices whilst ensuring operational excellence by reducing friction during coding and providing greater device health visibility. Our vision is to develop a suite of tools that seamlessly integrate across the entire development lifecycle from desktop to production. These tools will enable prehardware development and a smooth transition to ondevice testing.
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design
Experience in penetration testing and exploitabilityfocused vulnerability assessment
Experience in platformlevel security mitigations and hardening for Linux and Windows
Experience in professional noninternship software development
Experience building test automation frameworks and tools
Knowledge of overall system architecture scalability reliability and performance in a database environment
Experience with security in serviceoriented architectures and web services
