Main Responsibilities
Internal coordination and communication
- Coordinate the preparation of briefings talking points presentations official correspondence and other strategic documents for internal and external use.
- Ensure the Divisions effective representation and liaison with the STI Directors Office (DO) the Office of the SecretaryGeneral (OSG) and other Directorates and promote the Divisions key messages and policy priorities.
- Contribute to the dissemination of STPs work by collaborating with analysts and STP Communications Officer in the preparation of policyfocused communications material
- Support the effective implementation of the actions included in the CSTP Indepth Evaluation (IDE) Monitoring report and assist in improving CSTPs functioning in the longer run.
- Assist the Head of Division in monitoring and reporting on progress of the Programme of Work and Budget (PWB) and in reporting to Council and other internal bodies of the Organisation.
Horizontal Coordination and Engagement
- Work closely with the Head of Division to strengthen effective engagement with stakeholders including BIAC and TUAC to maximize the value visibility and impact of the CSPTs global reach.
- Develop and support the CSTP Engagement Action plan. Work with the Head of Division to readjust priorities and key events as needed.
- Lead on the CSTP Dialogue with International Organisations. Establish and maintain relationships with other International Organisations (IOs) interlocutors and other related authorities. Promote dialogue and productive exchanges among stakeholder communities.
- Leverage existing relationships amongst the G20 reference groups UN and other multilateral & Civil Society fora to promote and disseminate STP work. Act as an internal focal point and primary point of contact for input requests and engagement opportunities working closely with the head of division and the STI DO advisors.
Global relations
- Follow up closely on partner countries participation in CSTP and its subsidiary bodies and support the implementation of the CSTP Global Relations Strategic Directions (GRSD) in line with the OECDs overall Global Relations Strategy.
- Improve country participation in the CSTP by engaging and coordinating with OECD Members especially those that are less active in CSTP and interested nonOECD Member countries.
- Coordinate CSTPs engagement with Key Partners and accession countries; map strategic stakeholders in emerging regions for the CSTP to disseminate its work. Liaise with the Global Relations Center (GRC) and other Directorates.
Event Management and coordination
- Advise on organisational protocol and logistics aspects of future highlevel events. As appropriate liaise with and act as the focal point between OSG STI DO.
- Support the planning and coordination of committee meetings and other highprofile events led by the Head of Division and STP managers.
- Prepare eventsfocused communications material as requested and in coordination with the STP communication officer.
Other
- Draft short correspondence meeting notes for discussion and for follow up actions.
- Report on horizontal task forces and OECD internal coordination groups.
- Carry out other tasks as required.
Qualifications :
Ideal Candidate Profile
Academic Background
- An advanced university degree in a relevant discipline such as international relations political sciences policy communications economics business administration or a related field.
Professional Background
- A minimum of two years experience either in public administration international organisations supporting senior leadership with high level communications project management and strategy.
- A demonstrated ability to prepare written inputs of a consistently high quality including for international audiences and coordinate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience in synthesising policyoriented analysis and in compiling and presenting briefing material and speeches to higherlevel officials.
- Knowledge of substantive policy issues under the remit of STI.
Languages
- Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and a knowledge of or a willingness to learn the other.
