Main Responsibilities
Planning and coordination
- Oversee the planning and production processes for all of TADs publications.
- Play an active role in the Directorates Editorial Board planning discussions and outcomes.
- Update and maintain TADs publication calendar using a dedicated workflow management system.
- Coordinate with colleagues across TAD and the Communications Directorate to ensure smooth planning and workflows.
- Maintain a roster of external service providers and advise Divisions seeking editorial graphic design and other services to support publication production.
Publication preparation and quality checks
- Support TAD colleagues in the preparation of publications and advise on best practices.
- Review all publications ensuring coherence with corporate guidelines.
- Develop Abstracts for all reports and papers and prepare publication covers.
- Prepare all publications for submission in the OECDs Kappa system and include relevant accompanying information and tags.
- When needed edit and proofread priority products for style and accuracy.
Staff training and guidance
- Advise train and support teams on publication processes and corporate tools.
- Support the implementation of OECD policies procedures and publishing standards including on drafting and the use of plain language.
- Update and regularly distribute TADs complimentary publication guidance.
Qualifications :
Ideal Candidate Profile
Academic Background
- A postsecondary level of education preferably with a university degree in publishing or a communicationsrelated discipline.
Professional Background
- At least three years experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
- Excellent editorial skills and proven training and/or experience in copy editing and proof reading.
- Experience in project management in a complex highpressure environment.
Tools
- Excellent ITC knowledge including Microsoft 365 tools and software.
- Basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite programmes including Adobe InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience using OECD tools (O.N.E. Author Kappa) an advantage.
Languages
- Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and good knowledge of the other with a commitment to reach a very good working level.

Contract Duration
