We are currently seeking a Sales Account Manager in the Stuttgart area to join our team taking over a key role working with major customers like Volkswagen Porsche and Audi. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with these strategic accounts driving sales and identifying new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Manage existing business with key customers and improve profitability
Develop and grow turnover & market share by specific coordination for new business opportunities to meet strategic and tactical plans for profitable growth and market leadership in collaboration with Program BDM Engineering & Operations Managers
Manage RFQ processes internally and with customers including by providing offer & feedback for growth meeting booking targets
Define and implement middle and longterm strategies for the allocated applications and customers ensuring profitable growth
Carry out comprehensive and collaborative business planning for forecast & budget
Ensure timely execution of contract reviews price adjustments and related processes
Act as the voice of the customer across internal teams (Quality Logistics Purchasing etc.)
Stay informed about market trends and drive internal product development
Our requirements:
Successfully completed masters degree in relevant field with strong technical skills.
35 years of relevant experience with German customers in the automotive industry.
Experience with either Volkswagen Audi or Porsche is preferred.
Fluent or native German skills and additional fluency in English
Highly organized and systematic approach to account management along with technical selling skills
Ability to work well independently or within a global multicultural team environment
Strong selling marketing and negotiating skills together with good Project Management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to frequent travel in Europe: mainly to customers in Germany (Stuttgart area) and different European Johnson Electric sites
