Central Waitlist Management (FY25 26) Initiative
Overview:
The Central Waitlist Management initiative aims to digitally enable stakeholders at the provincial regional and hospital levels through a user-first iterative development approach within an Agile environment.
5 8 years of experience in full stack development including front-end (UI) API and database components.
5 8 years of experience developing with:
C# .NET Core
JavaScript and SQL
5 8 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure including:
Azure Functions
Azure Service Bus
5 8 years of experience working in Agile teams using Azure DevOps for the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong verbal communication skills.
Translate business and technical requirements into working tested software applications.
Write detailed technical specifications and develop both front-end and back-end code.
Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues during implementation and operation.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate technical solutions and architectures.
Work closely with UI/UX designers to bring responsive and accessible interfaces to life.
Write clean reusable and maintainable code.
Diagnose and address performance bottlenecks and defects.
Support applications in all environments collaborating with operations teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
Expertise in Microsoft technologies: C# .NET Core SQL.
Strong experience building RESTful APIs and working with OAuth 2.0.
Proficiency with HTML CSS JavaScript and front-end frameworks (e.g. LESS SASS).
Familiarity with AODA and WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards.
Knowledge of application security best practices.
Experience with FHIR and HL7 standards (asset).
Comfortable with Git or TFVC version control systems.
Proven ability to work independently manage multiple tasks and deliver under deadlines.
Detail-oriented creative and eager to learn emerging technologies.
Hybrid 3 days per month on-site
All work must be performed within Canada unless otherwise approved by Ontario Health.
Full Time
