In this pivotal role you will contribute to the execution of our business units Risk Management Framework ensuring our operations are safeguarded against potential risks.
You will play a key role in supporting the review of both internal and external operational risk incidents acting as a vital liaison on behalf of the business. Your expertise will help ensure that our team not only understands its risks but also implements robust standards controls and practices to effectively mitigate them. By doing so you will support the achievement of our strategic objectives and drive the success of our organization.

Position Responsibilities:
Execute core elements of the business unit Risk Management Framework.
Review internal and external operational risk incidents/errors for lessons learned and opportunities to implement new preventive and detective controls.
Participate in risk control assessments utilizing process documentation and analysis techniques and making business recommendations for improvement
Maintain awareness of risk and control issues within the business/function whether identified internally or through audit findings.
Maintain effective business relationships with internal business and functional support areas and develop and deliver presentations to senior audiences.
Support projects and business changes that may impact key risks or internal controls ensuring the risk profile is maintained.
Participate in various meetings related to operational risk and control matters.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in risk management internal controls or audit functions within a corporate environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess processes identify risks and propose improvements.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to develop and deliver presentations to senior audiences.
Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
Proactive and selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Finance Accounting or a related field are preferred.
Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g. CPA CIA Risk Management Certification) are a plus.
Understanding of retirement plan services operations is advantageous.

Working Arrangement
Salary range is expected to be between
$64575.00 CAD $107625.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location please contact for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant jobrelated factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
