We are looking for an Associate Car & Light Maintenance to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pureplay fleet manager in the world we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

Are You:

  • An effective and respectful communicator with general automotive experience
  • Knowledgeable in vehicle maintenance and repair

As the Associate Car & Light Maintenance you will provide support to our clients drivers and frontline agents with the authorization of repairs the processing of preapproved invoices supplier email verifications and responding to the supplier client and driver electronic communications. You will also work closely with Case Managers supervisors managers and frontline agents to respond to client and driver requests.

A Day in the Life

  • Apply your car and light duty technical expertise (e.g.: repairs preventative maintenance labor & parts costs) while providing a superior customer experience in responding to incoming calls from drivers and suppliers while resolving inquiries involving repairs and roadside events
  • Triage and respond to inquiries coming from our supplier interactive portal email or other internal tools
  • Assist drivers in locating appropriate repair facilities
  • Make outbound calls to suppliers to provide processing and payment instructions as well as to help initiate service and service follow up
  • Process incorrect email returns from suppliers and supplier and client preapproved invoices for payments
  • Use technical knowledge to negotiate repair prices and review requests for compliance according to client policy and Elements standard operating procedures
  • Issue authorizations for valid repairs to manage the clients vehicle maintenance repair costs and ensure vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum

Requirements

  • High School diploma (or equivalent) required BA/BS a plus
  • Minimum 3 years general automotive knowledge; preferably mechanic experience
  • Licensed 310S or 310T Certification preferred
  • Able to work evenings weekends and holidays as the schedule may require
  • Comfortable working from home in an inbound call center environment; may require onsite training/meetings occasionally at a major office location
  • PC skills including data entry and MS Office suite preferred
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and respond with a sense of urgency as well as an ability to research and resolve problems make independent judgements communicate effectively and have a strong team orientation
  • Must be able to provide own access to wired highspeed internet connection (Wifi not acceptable) and a quiet/confidential working area
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset

The hiring base salary range for this position is $54400 to $74800 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individuals knowledge skills experience equity with other team members and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
